Words, Mockery & Images are Simply Not Enough
Some thoughts on the art of living apart from the multitude
"As I lay there thinking of my vision, I could see it all again and feel the meaning with a part of me like a strange power glowing in my body; but when the part of me that talks would try to make words for the meaning, it would be like fog and get away from me."
-Black Elk
Like many in this community, I primarily seek to express the acute paucity of spirit and body typical in the mass man... Something many work hard to expunge from themselves and something I try to make useful and efficient tools for. Furnishing myself and those with enough of "the stuff" with authentic, proven & workable remedies.
The balancing act for all of us as I see it, is to not get caught up in mere contrarianism. That is to become hypnotised by merely another set of dogmatic constructs. Many of which ironically promise some kind of salvation. Although they sound appealing or sexy on the surface, they serve only to stack yet another layer of linguistic confusion. They are an amusement.
Our sole focus, those who are interested in real self-change, should be to ruthlessly dismantle this misguided logo-centric cultural habit. So that we may become masters of the word, and it not ours. Words cannot be the master for us. In fact, words are not the master, anyway. Neuroscience is increasingly proving logocentrism to be false. Showing tantalising, the depths of our incomprehension of our true condition to edge on frightening. Paradoxically, the language "centres" are powerful. In my book, I stated that:
"Langauge is not nearly as powerful as people think, but it is more powerful than they know."
Western modernity, in many ways, is heaped upon logo-centric cultural foundations. As we discovered in my video series on General Semantics, a strong case can be made that such habits are perhaps far older. Maybe, not able to fully flourish until true decadence arose. With it, modernities attack-dog progressivism, heaps unanswered violence upon the servile and sleeping masses.
Woe to anyone who attempts to wake them from their slumber, as many of us are only too familiar with over the last few years. Unfortunately for many theorycels in our circles, the last few years revealed more than anything else, a biochemical and species-wide neurological wiring problem. In this context, the rather sneaky purposes of language are not the answer to liberation; rather they are the tools of inducing a hypnotic state in a sick species with a sick physiology.
The only solution for us who are aware, as individuals, is to strive to overcome this condition. Again, this can only be through ruthlessly taking the hammer to it all, even our most cherished “self-beliefs”.
Counter-propaganda and intellectual streams, although having their place and being interesting in their own right, are not enough since they necessarily broadly encapsulate this fundamental species problem I’m describing. A problem of the body and mind being separate and failing to function coherently and wilfully. One of downtrodden physiology, bent out of shape by decadent modernity & and prodded profitably by the psychopaths who live on the mass of mankind.
Through such mass-produced propaganda, we all know the urge to create and live a joyful life is nullified in the youth. We also understand the destructive nature of social media on the human brain, and its nullification of action in the real world. Ubiquitous decadence and powerful language play effectively create a thick shroud of black smoke, blanketing from sight all primordial urges towards the pursuit of space and of freedom and the consequent expression of internal vitality - the desire to create in space. The game has been linguistically and digitally rigged.
Through words and images, robust youth are inducted into something of a sleep-induced fugue. Searing masochism of spirit is being cultivated through it. While the old and crooked, those of contorted spirit feast upon the vitality of a neutered though potentially powerful youth. This exquisite control machinery is most effectively aimed at young men. Those with the most tremendous potential for spiritual and physical renewal.
I see sloped, sad figures primarily propagating this world. Dutifully doing what they are bred or told they must do; the insectoid classes; the last men, utterly devoid of vitality. To think that a set of words of parables can fix this? Or a roadmap to some kind of organisation can steer us out of the way of catasrophe misses the truth that most of the challenges we face are in our day-to-day lives. How well equipped are we neurologically to manage them?
Parables and counter-narratives may offer temporary relief. An inspired sugar rush. Yet, a defunct personality remains. Our slouched, stressed-out physiology remains. Sonnerad edit? 80's surf pictures? Fine. Yet, the essential hormonal profile and wiring similarities to the hoi polloi remain. Regardless of what we read, write, or speak to our friends and the fun we have in doing so. We remain, and this tends to be not in a good way. From what I have seen, behind the statues and the claims.
In this way, the partially awake tend to be overcome with cyclical bouts of hopelessness, delusion, or both since the hope concepts or inspired speeches offer are temporary and fleeting. Is there some way out of this? I contend the answer is yes, though I know now this remedy does not lie in words or philosophy. It is primarily within neurophysiology work that hope lies. Within realising how our psychology and bodies truly work.
Among the nastiest habits of the mass of mankind is that of turning disease, ugliness, weakness and inertia of spirit into a virtue. The necessity of patching the gaping nihilistic chasm that occupies the place of their spirit with false integrity. This is enacted through language.
Our leaders reflect us. They are us. Visibly rigid, presenting themselves without any sense of organic vitality; they exist merely as repugnant wax figures.
Indeed the people have the leadership they deserve. Projecting their own rigidity and pettiness upon the parasitic "elite" they support. Consuming the polemics of this so-called elite (or their lackey class), empty catechisms are thrown around aimlessly on a dizzying array of subjects. Deliberately, as the filthy rats sup from their feeders, the gruel of false virtue. Yet, although our content may be different and promote things of beauty in words and images, are we functionally all that different?
We are being sold something. We're being sold a set of words that induce subjective feeling-states. For the masses, psychopaths have always sold last men their wares in a marketplace of indulgences, products of false hope and profit for material salvation. This is aimed at inducing powerful feeling-states. Most of mankind is in a state of dissatisfaction, perhaps even pain. Words and concepts that we choose offer us temporary relief. Are we that much different?
It's absolutely questionable how much anyone has achieved or is achieving. I don't care what anyone says. Anyone promoting selling language-induced feeling-states as an answer to this undercurrent of dissatisfaction is sadly missing the point. It is a part of what should happen, but it's not enough. Nowhere near. Respectfully, because I admire many people in our thing, it's not that it's slow-moving. It's not working. At best, it's a rallying point for people who are that way already. It's not working because the masses are worthless. They don't matter because they'll simply be told what to do. Any leader worth his salt knows this is basically it. However, selling feeling-states to frens, is not good enough. The case I'm making here is that it's also probably counter-productive if we fail to acknowledge what is happening. We all need to be working tangibly to dig ourselves out of this.
And that starts with individuals working on themselves and finding greater flexibility in their behaviour through their physiology. Restructured breath and brains. And joyfully living a creative life. This is true, radical progressivism.
Look out for this weeks newsletter, have an article on HRV and breath work as measurement tools. I’ve recently completed some training on this and am keen to share some results, particularly in light of why I promoted this kind of breathing in my recent eBook. I’ve been logging some interesting results with some measurement tools recently, using different styles of breath work, they will be progressively released. As they say, demand results. Don’t just do something because it has a Sanskrit or Japanese name. Or a sun or statue for marketing, for that matter.
- Best.
