Before we move on to links, I want to clarify something that's been on my mind while I've been reviewing Nietzsche's work for this week's newsletter. Fairly intensely.
I realise this will not be popular with some readers…but it is what it is, chaps.
Repeat after me if you wish?
I increasingly realise anything I do is naught but an extraordinarily crude footnote or additional chromosome scribbles to Nietzsche's work.
I offer mere technicalities, some how-to's, elaborations on practice to fulfil the psycho-physiological aim he sets forth.
If anyone in recent times was ever a prophet, it is him; to anyone with a modicum of authentic experience...the kind that we point to here and elsewhere...this should be crystal clear beyond doubt and question.
Perhaps due to his sickness (this does happen; there is literature on it), his solitude and the sheer intensity of his genius, he had strong (what we will term for convenience) "kundalini" experiences.
I have no doubt. This becomes even more apparent when you become acquainted with the peculiarities of the symptoms associated with his declining health, which take on some extra dimension.
This is reflected in his unrivalled comprehension of the essential problem. Several hundred years before anyone else came close, and in the face of millennia of our culture running away from the truth. He says he was 200 years too early, meaning we have 80 years to go until something truly superior emerges.
He broke the European world, forcing it to reassess.
I am confident we are making substantial progress, fulfilling the aim of a true psychology and a true science - towards something greater.
How much progress are you making?
It is astounding the clarity with which he saw everything...a seer.
Okay, with that out of the way…
Thinking vs "thoughting" in this episode.
Do you understand? From a bio-individual perspective? From a physiological point of view?
Let's find out.
