Gents,
The big one. You’ll need a pen and paper for this breakdown.
Having said that, this is the only video series you will ever need on how-to. I’ve noted many people will listlessly spend 4 or more hours a day consuming meandering unfocused political content that has virtually no impact on their lives, or even on changing the process they purport to be interested in. So at 3 and a bit for a dogma-free, life changing skill stripped of all nonsense, I don’t believe is such a huge imposition. I’m often wrong however as a result of my strong, albeit, not immediately apparent optimism.
I will say this - many of us are interest in politics, theories or sportsball (I also don’t mind these things) however for some reason no one is interested in the functioning of their nervous system and how it works? They’ll even get aggressive and defensive when you try to break it down.
This will always remain to me the most bewildering feature of the human being. It implies much.
Tomorrow the guided file will be released. A practical session recording with all the tricks of the trade I’ve learned over the years. Designed to get you started. It is designed also to accompany this practical theory release, and to concretise what i discuss in there, so it all makes sense and you can all go off on your Pat Malone once you’ve learned it.
This file will contain basically everything you would ever need, stripped of silly or culturally irrelevant exoticism. It contains everything I’ve used and learned over the years - because regardless of what they tell you, you don’t need much. Other than for curiosities sake perhaps.
Video 3 release will be the day after - Levels and stages & what to expect.
Video 4 and the final release, is on why the Bio-individual Mindfulness practice works, and doesn’t require spiritual or ideological dogma, and not only does it not need it, it absolutely cannot have it.
This recording will resolve all the legitimate questions you may have. The supposed paradoxes between the pursuit of power and the e-word. Shudder, cringe, wince - ‘enlightenment’. Also, the alleged irredeemable conflicts of dualities like materialism and spirituality, good and evil, power and renunciation etc etc.
This will be the final piece that defines the dogma free approach to bio-individual mindfulness. It is important to orient practice from the right place so you don’t reactively seek ‘practice novelty’ like a chicken with it’s head just removed. If you know where you’re coming from and why, then novelty is of smaller import because you know the truth is that you simply have to ‘stick to the method’. So, why you’re in it and what to expect are important things to consider.
To top it off, Kevin and I recorded a podcast last night on many of these same issues, in relation to my latest retreat and some of the things that occurred.
It got pretty mind-bending. We discussed listener questions, ‘what happens’ because of mindful practice, the true nature of the reactive mind and how we are, despite what we think, highly reactive and not truly in control in the way we’ve been acculturated to believe.
We also go as far as analysing experience of ‘Sunyata’ or so-called Buddhist emptiness o
r void, and I attempt to describe what it is according to my experience.
All in all, an in depth dive into meditation, and the implications of meditation. This will be released Sunday/Monday god-willing, but i have a lot on my plate.
Cheerio,
