Can you do something now that you demonstrably could not do before, or has something dropped you could not stop doing before?
Has anyone in your external life noticed a change?
Is the change consistent, or does it require repeated reactivation through the same practice?
Has the practice built capacity, or has it built dependency?
Are you better able to function without the practice compared to before you started?
The test of any self-shaping practice is not the quality of the sensation state it produces. It is the durability of the change it creates in the organism. Always be on guard against magical thinking.
